Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly and assisting them with their orders.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently while adhering to cash handling procedures.
- Prepare food items according to established recipes and food safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness in the café, including bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and ensuring all equipment is sanitized.
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
- Engage with customers to promote menu items and upsell products when appropriate.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques is preferred.
