Job Description :
To operate truck, to fuel and grease heavy equipment and provide fluids as needed for the equipment.
Functional Requirements :
- Operate and drive a fuel and lube truck to various job sites in a safe and efficient manner.
- Follow all safety regulations and traffic laws.
- Keep shop and lube truck organized and clean.
- Communicate with team members to coordinate delivery schedules.
- Fuel up heavy equipment, including excavators, bulldozers, and other machinery.
- Work with onsite supervision to support all job / project needs for fuel, oils, supplies and minor maintenance of the equipment fleet as needed.
- Maintain accurate records with strong attention to detail. This includes : track Fuel, oil, DEF, grease, equipment hours and filters.
- Ensure sufficient inventory of all filters, fuel and oil.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles.
- Organize daily routine and maximize time and delivery methods.
- Assist mechanics on equipment maintenance, repair as needed.
- Report any incidents or mechanical issues to the appropriate personnel
