We are seeking a Part Time GPS Safety Coordinator for our Little Cananda, MN location.
This is a Hybrid remote opportunity requiring 3 days of onsite work per week.
Position Overview
The primary purpose of this role is to address the lack of integration between Samsara and Power BI, which requires manual updates in Power BI to ensure the dashboard is current.
The person in this position will be responsible for updating attributes for the Utility group and assisting with daily triage of Samsara hash events.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Review AI-generated camera events for accuracy.
- Dismiss false alerts based on general guidance and assign accurate alerts for coaching in PSC's telematics system.
- Using organizational structure guidance, assign coaches for events that require follow-up.
- Notify local Fleet management of hardware issues such as cameras not reporting or obstructions.
- Update telematics platform to ensure accurate drivers and locations are identified.
- Attend all GPS/telematics required meetings.
- Communicate updates or changes to Business Unit Leaders.
- Establish and distribute weekly reporting.
Requirements and Qualifications
- General knowledge of fleet and equipment operations is desired.
- Experienced in Microsoft Office programs such as Outlook, Teams, Excel, and Word.
- Ability to follow general guidance on camera events that require action or dismiss incorrectly AI-generated alerts.
- Ability to communicate effectively and react to changing conditions of program administration.
- Proven ability to multi-task and maintain focus on overall objectives.
- Ability to work with confidential information.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
