Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced PV Systems Operations Manager to join our team at Primoris Services Corporation. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for supervising employees' activities at the project site in accordance with schedules, plans, and pre-established policies and procedures as directed by the superintendent.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory capacity, with a strong background in construction engineering or a related field. They will possess excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team to achieve project goals.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Supervising employees' activities at the project site, ensuring that all work is completed on time and within budget
- Identifying and resolving quality control problems on job and plant sites, working closely with the superintendent to implement solutions
- Assisting in the interview and selection process for new hires, ensuring that all candidates meet the company's EEO/AA goals
- Scheduling and requesting personnel as needed to ensure timely project completion
- Determining and recommending improvements in methods, schedules, and procedures where practical on the project
- Signing and coding delivery tickets, ensuring that all materials comply with quality standards and specifications
- Maintaining and encouraging job safety, ensuring that all employees follow safe work practices and report any hazards or incidents
