Quality Inspector
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Quality Inspector will inspect, document and verify quality of assembled equipment intended for use on photo voltaic projects. This position will act as a quality control/gate with attention to detail in various areas. These areas may include incoming materials or products (including assemblies and manufactured parts). Product designs will be specific to electrical equipment and assemblies. The ideal candidate possesses a strong technical background, quality knowledge, the ability to effectively communicate, exposure to or ISO 9001 working experience, and has great attention to detail. Must be a self-starter and critical thinker. Review manufacturing operations to ensure product design and manufactured equipment meets specifications.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform thorough inspections to identify defects and variations from established standards.
- Documenting of non-conformances and conformance issues.
- Validates quality processes, measures production standards at critical control points, document, and communicate findings to all interested parties.
- Ensure products shipped comply with customer specification and quality requirements.
- Interpret technical drawings and product information data sheets.
- Identify areas for quality control improvements and help implement new methods accordingly.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2 years doing inspection work in a quality environment.
- 2 years of ISO:9001 (2015) (preferrable) manufacturing experience.
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems and their components preferred.
- Proven written and verbal communication abilities.
- Demonstrated mathematic abilities are a must.
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills.
- Ability to read, understand and interpret, drawings, specifications, scopes of work and project schedules.
- Experience in Microsoft Office Suite is required.

- Competitive hourly range of $24 - $36 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
