POSITION SUMMARY :
The Vice President of Engineering will lead the engineering department, overseeing all engineering activities across multiple projects and programs. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in project management, engineering design, and team leadership within the EPC sector. The VP will work closely with the executive team, and leaders of other departments to drive operational excellence, foster innovation, and ensure the delivery of high-quality engineering solutions
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Develop and implement the engineering strategy aligned with the company’s overall vision and business objectives
- Lead, mentor, and manage the engineering team, promoting a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee engineering activities by leveraging through others, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards
- Collaborate with department team members and other stakeholders to assess project requirements and provide technical guidance
- Drive innovation in engineering practices and methodologies to enhance efficiency and competitiveness
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to leverage best practices in engineering
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and driving a culture of design that facilitates safe execution of construction
- Implement quality assurance processes to maintain high standards in engineering deliverables
- Work closely with procurement, construction, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of engineering solutions
