Job Overview :
Primoris Services Corporation is currently seeking a skilled Cyber Security Network Engineer to join our growing team. In this position, are expected to have meticulous attention to detail, outstanding problem-solving skills, work comfortably under pressure, and deliver on tight deadlines. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our network security infrastructure, ensuring the highest level of protection against cyber threats.
To ensure success, a Cyber Security Network engineer with expertise in Palo Alto, Aruba, and Cisco technologies, must display an excellent understanding of technology infrastructures using Firewalls, VPN, IDS / IPS, and Security Audits. Top candidates will be comfortable working with a variety of technologies, security problems, and troubleshooting of the network.
Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities :
- Engineer, implement, and monitor security measures for the protection of computer systems, networks, cloud services and information.
- Design and validate configuration of Palo Alto, Aruba, and Cisco network security solutions, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection / prevention systems (IDS / IPS).
- Identify, analyze, and define system security processes, best practices, and security requirements for the organization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective security policies and rules within the Palo Alto, Aruba, and Cisco environments.
- Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans to identify potential weaknesses and implement appropriate remediation measures.
- Establish security configurations, tests, and troubleshoots security infrastructure devices.
- Respond to all system and / or network security events, incidents, and breaches.
- Write comprehensive reports including assessment-based findings, outcomes, and propositions for further system security enhancement.
- Actively participate in change control operations to maintain established security control principles, policies, and procedures.
