Skills/Qualifications:

• Highly professional and dependable, pleasant/friendly demeanor and an outgoing personality
• Positive interaction with children at different ages and skill levels, understanding of social-emotional to engage in provided curriculum
• Strong organization skills, able to multi-task, time management to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Able to work harmoniously, solution and detail-oriented and ability to provide constructive feedback
• Excellent communication (written and verbal), good listening, follow up and problem solving skills, including high coping capabilities
• High integrity, competent, confident and coachable
• Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations
• Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time; and able to kneel or squat

Responsibilities:

· Supervises and manages daily functions for a class of children

· Plans and implements the approved lesson plans and daily schedule using the Primrose School curriculum and materials

· Provides an attractive and well-kept classroom that encourages creativity, exploration, and decision-making by the children

· Accepts responsibility for maintenance and necessary housekeeping duties of the classroom, common areas and playgrounds

· Assists and coordinates snacks, meals, naptime and bathroom activities

· Attends all required staff meetings, workshops and school functions as determined by the Director

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $14.50 per hour
