Support/Floater Teacher

Primrose School at Hidden Lakes is looking for a Support/Floating Teacher that would work in and with all age groups. This job requires fluid hours as you may be needed any time between 6:30am and 6:30pm Monday through Friday. You must be able to lift children up to 35lbs and be willing to learn to drive a 14 passenger bus.

Summary

We are seeking a passionate teacher to join our team at Primrose School at Hidden Lakes. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment for young children, guiding them through their early educational journey. Your contributions will play a vital role in fostering their growth and development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with the Balanced Learning® approach.
• Create a safe, nurturing classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively to promote a positive learning atmosphere.
• Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress and development.
• Assess children's progress through observation and standardized testing as needed.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum development and classroom activities.
• Provide support and guidance to students during physical education activities.

Requirements

• Experience working with young children in an educational setting is preferred
• Strong classroom management skills with the ability to create an engaging learning environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Knowledge of curriculum development is a plus but not required.
• Valid Driver's License

Pay: $13.50 - $16.00 per hour
