What are the responsibilities and job description for the Explorer Summer Teacher/ Kindergarten Teacher position at Primrose School of Amarillo Southwest?

As an After School Teacher, which we call an Explorer Teacher at the Primrose School of Amarillo, you’ll help care for little ones aged 5 to 10 who are enrolled in our after school and summer program. You’ll implement a fun and flexible curriculum with student-led projects that focus on leadership, character development and design thinking. During the summer you will help monitor and supervise students on field trips and provide a fun and enriching environment while in care. We are also looking at this position possibly becoming a full time Kindergarten teacher for our August 2025 school year. In order to be the Kindergarten teacher we do require a Bachelor's Degree and an individual who will be committed to implementing to approved curriculum for the entirety of the school year from August to May.
