New School Opening! Primrose School of Natick is expanding and we are hiring an Assistant School Director position to join the Leadership Team at our new location in Sudbury, MA, as well as our current location in Natick, MA. This position will ensure adherence to our mission of bringing the best and most trusted in early childhood education and child care services to families we serve. We are seeking an individual who is energetic, organized, a problem solver, and possesses great communication skills. This individual needs to be passionate about early childhood education and dedicated to the success of our next generation. The successful candidate will be able to balance both the educational and operational needs of the school with a high focus on daily school operations, regulatory compliance and adherence to high health & safety standards.
Primary Responsibilities :
Observes all school rules and regulations and all local, state and national regulatory agencies pertaining to the health, safety and care of children
Provides superior customer service to all external and internal customers
Assumes responsibility to manage operations of the school in the absence of Director
Has a strong working knowledge of EEC regulations and employment laws; acts as a role model ensuring regulatory and health & safety compliance in classrooms
Contributes to the overall success of the school with responsibilities including but not limited to open and close, licensing compliance, classroom support, curriculum implementation and marketing of the school
Creates a culture of engagement by empowering faculty members to find solutions for themselves
Assists in keeping school physically well kept, attractive, and safe
Assists in other capacities that Director, or designee, determines is necessary
Desired skills and experience :
A bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
At least one year of program administration experience in an EEC licensed large group program
At least five years of classroom teaching experience; experience teaching infants, toddlers and preschool age students preferred
Superior time management, attention to detail and organization to operate in a fast-paced environment
EEC Director II qualified with Lead Teacher qualification for I / T / P
Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations
