As the Food Service Teacher (Chef) of Primrose School of Peachtree Corners, you’ll prepare delicious, nutritious food that helps fuel children as they explore, play and develop a lifelong love of learning. Make a difference every day with the following qualifications and responsibilities:
- Encourage healthy eating habits through delicious and nutritious foods.
- Maintain a keen awareness of children who have allergies and food restrictions.
- Ensure food service area and food are free of nuts, nut products or food items that have been processed in a facility that also processes nut products.
- Follow the daily menu prepared in collaboration with or by the Director.
- Assist with ordering food and calculating the amount needed.
- Observe all rules, regulations, and policies at Primrose Schools of Peachtree Corners, and the local, state, or national regulatory agencies pertaining to the safety, health, and care of children.
- Must be able to lift up to 35lbs. in connection with the handling of the children for facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations.
- Must be able to perform functions of the job, including, but not limited to, lifting and carrying, pushing or pulling bending, squatting, kneeling, sitting or standing for long periods of time, performing quick movements, performing repetitive motions, etc.
- Assist in other capacities that Owner, Director, Leadership Team Member, supervisor, or designee, determines necessary.
