Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership:

  • Ensure the school operates in compliance with all state licensing standards and Primrose Schools' policies.
  • Oversee the implementation of the Balanced Learning® curriculum to maintain high educational standards.
  • Manage the school's financial operations, including budget development, expense tracking, and payroll management, to ensure financial health.

Team Management:

  • Recruit, train, and mentor teaching and administrative staff, fostering a culture of support and continuous professional development.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to staff members.
  • Create a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages teamwork and open communication.
  • Conducts clear weekly face-to-face discussions and provides clear plans and reports on current status and plans to address gaps
  • Works to build school as the best choice for students in the location
  • Acts as the single point of contact for all leadership tasks at the school
  • Maintains the school above state and Primrose standards

Family and Community Engagement:

  • Ensure Parent and Teacher satisfaction and retention
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with families, addressing any concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Builds and maintains high levels of family enrollment and teacher retention
  • Organize and participate in school events, open houses, and community outreach activities to promote the school's programs.
  • Communicate regularly with parents through newsletters, meetings, and conferences to keep them informed about their child's progress and school activities.

Health and Safety Compliance:

  • Ensure that the school environment is safe, clean, and well-maintained.
  • Stay updated on state and local regulations regarding health and safety in child care settings and ensure the school's compliance.
  • Implement and oversee emergency preparedness plans and conduct regular safety drills.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in early childhood education, with at least 2 years in a leadership or administrative role.
  • Comprehensive understanding of state licensing requirements and early childhood education best practices.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in financial management and budgeting.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with staff, families, and the community.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe and nurturing environment for children.

Ideal candidate has:

  • A proven record of leading a successful and full top-tier Premium Preschool
  • A strong commitment to building positive relationships with families and the community.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or a related field, or equivalent classroom/teaching experience.
  • Previous Primrose experience preferred, but not required!
