We are seeking an enthusiastic Private Kindergarten Teacher to plan and implement an ongoing program of activities that promote the social, emotional, cognitive and physical development of each child. This position offers several unique opportunities that are a Kindergarten Teacher's dream and are not typical of a public school setting. We have a small class size (typically less than 12 students) which allows us to teacher true to the model of early childhood education. We utilize center based learning with small group instruction so students have a more hands on kindergarten experience. Additionally, most of the lesson planning is done for you. With the built-in planning time, our teachers take home little to no work outside of their regularly scheduled day.

Kindergarten Teacher Responsibilities & Qualifications:
- Early Childhood teaching certification from the State of Missouri and a 4 year degree.
- Is responsible for the overall supervision and daily class functions of a group of children.
- Observes all rules and regulations at {{ account.name }} and state regulatory agencies pertaining to the health, safety and care of children.
- Assesses each child's developmental needs on an ongoing basis and tailors curriculum to meet child's needs.
- Implements the approved lesson plans and daily classroom schedule in accordance with the Primrose Balanced Learning® curriculum and programming.
- Plans with a member of the Leadership Team the parent-teacher conferences and student evaluations.
- Maintains an attractive, well-kept classroom that encourages children to create, explore and make decisions with confidence.
- Provides verbal recognition and acceptance to children while providing clear and consistent expectations for the children's behavior.
- Attends all required staff meetings, workshops and/or school functions.
- Assists in other capacities that Director, or designee, determines is necessary.

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
