WHAT YOU WILL DO
As the Technology Systems Administrator, you will identify and create key opportunities and leverage new or existing solutions to technology challenges from the Primrose School National Support Center to our schools. You will handle daily IT operations, offer technical support for user systems, business application, network and infrastructure. You will troubleshoot and resolve device and application issues and play a key role in organizational access control. This is a full-time, hybrid role.
- Maintain an understanding of and design solutions for various business units and end users based on workflow and objective
- Engage with Primrose Support Team Members and Franchise Owners on various technical matters to include desktop, hardware, software and infrastructure administration
- Seek underlying root cause of user pain points or recurring issues and propose systematic solutions to mitigate future issues or improve user experience
- Seek opportunities to enhance routine processes and procedures and stays abreast of modern technologies as they become available
- Collaborate with Product Management, Systems Engineering and end users to refine application configurations as business needs evolve, creating documentation for future support along the way
- Monitor, respond to, document and resolve system performance issues in a timely and efficient manner
- Buildout and manage the Technical Resource Center to continually optimize cost while mitigating risk
- Apply Primrose Technology philosophies and business judgment to safely and accurately administer access to various critical operations
- Deploy tools to achieve operational goals such as : Windows, Azure, the Microsoft 365 Suite, Microsoft Power Platform & Azure Logic Apps, Databricks, Hubspot.
- Navigate and operate in a Windows Server environment which includes the management of Domain Controllers, Windows Active Directory, DNS (Domain Name System), NFTS Permissions, WSUS, and User Hardware build and management applications
- Serve as interface between end-users and vendor teams for third party business applications
- 3-5 years' experience
- Ability to troubleshoot, manage and maintain user devices to include laptops, mobile devices and supporting peripherals to include both hardware and desktop or mobile OS
- Experience supporting Windows & Azure environments, virtualized infrastructure, cloud and / or enterprise application
- Experience monitoring and managing end user technologies utilizing Defender, Manage Engine, Intune, or similar environment and endpoint management tools
- Basic understanding of a virtualized computer infrastructure
- Experience with Azure virtualized infrastructure, preferred
- Experience with Azure, Databricks, Basic SQL
- Basic understanding of networking including firewalls, routing, switches
- Cisco and Meraki experience, preferred
- PowerShell, Microsoft Power Platform, Azure Logic Apps, and SQL Server User Management (Basic SQL) understanding, preferred
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Commission or bonuses based on personal and company performance
