JOB DESCRIPTION –School Director
Goal:
To operate the school in accordance with the School's vision, mission, policies and procedures and state licensing standards. Provide a safe, educational, and nurturing environment for children, parents, and staff. Promote the School in the community to build awareness, enrollment, and achieve planned profitability.
Qualifications:
· Meet the Director requirements of local childcare regulatory agency and School training requirements.
· A degree in Early Childhood Education, Primary Education, or related field, and/or at least two years' work experience in a licensed childcare facility, kindergarten or early childhood program preferred. Commitment to complete any/all required educational requirements.
· Experience in management, business, and/or public relations preferred.
· Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations.

Responsibilities:
· Provides superior customer service to all external and internal customers.
· Implements the necessary management responsibilities to ensure maximum enrollment and effective cost control to produce target profit.
· Knowledge of and adheres to employment laws and compliance issues related to those laws.
· Selects, hires, orients, trains/develops and evaluates all staff in accordance with School and state licensing requirements and policies and procedures.
· Plan, lead and attend all school events, functions, open houses, etc.
· Keep school physically well kept, attractive, and safe.
· Have all furniture, fixtures, equipment, building and playgrounds checked on a regular basis for repairs, maintenance and/or replacement.
· Ability to perform all of the essential functions for each position in the School, including, but not limited to, other Leadership Team positions, Teacher, Food Service, and Bus Driver.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
