We have an immediate long-term opportunity with one of our largest clients for a position of Database Developer to work in Sacramento, CA
Requirements
- Design, develop, and maintain database solutions using MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
- Implement infrastructure automation and scripting using tools like GitHub, Shell, and Ansible.
- Work closely with DevOps teams to deploy and manage containerized applications with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Ensure database performance, integrity, and security by implementing best practices and monitoring techniques.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement database strategies aligned with business goals.
- Troubleshoot and optimize database performance issues.
- Participate in database scaling, replication, and backup strategies.
- Manage cloud databases and services, with AWS/Google Cloud Platform knowledge being a plus.
Qualification
- Proven experience in database development and management with MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
- Strong knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
- Experience in infrastructure automation using tools like GitHub, Shell scripting, and Ansible.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS and Google Cloud Platform.
