We have an immediate long-term opportunity with one of our largest clients for a position of Embedded Network Engineer to work in Denver, CO
Requirements
- Design and validate Cable Gateways, Wi-Fi Routers, Mobile Apps, Telecom, and Enterprise Embedded Devices
- Install and configure wireless access points, routers, and switches
- Provide firmware certification for Cable Modems, Wi-Fi Routers, Set-top Boxes, DOCSIS, VoIP (SIP), IMS, and Packet-Cable
- Troubleshoot and resolve network and connectivity issues
- Provide technical assistance and security management for network DUTs (Device Under Test)
- Participate in technical and network discussions with internal and external stakeholders
Qualification
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in embedded systems or telecom-related fields
- Strong experience with firmware certification of Cable Modems, Wi-Fi Routers, Set-top Boxes, and related technologies (DOCSIS, SIP, IMS, etc.)
- Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting routers, switches, and wireless access points
- Ability to understand and work with Python (basic scripting skills are essential)
- Familiarity with server and Raspberry Pi (Raspberry Pi) for deploying automation solutions
- CCNA or CWNA certification preferred; candidates willing to reskill will be considered
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
