We have an immediate contract to hire opportunity with one of our prime clients for a senior-level position Sr. Oracle PL / SQL Developer to work on a remote basis.
Pay Rate : $50-$55 / hr
MUST HAVES :
7 years Pl / SQL in 19C (11 is fine)
Independent thinker -able to create solutions take a task and run with it / critically
Enterprise Experience working in large environments
Needs to be comfortable working in legacy code with not very structured / rigid documentation (willingness to dive into code and uncover and try to understand - being able to make the call in knowing when something is too big to rewrite etc.)
DUTIES :
Combination of the day to day if there is anything that needs attention, research, production issues rotation that they put most of the team members on not only solve the problem but will be familiar with the different areas so that they can troubleshoot and figure things out
Will work with the BA's to figure out what is really needed this will be a rotation
Tickets come in for maintenance, enhancements, bug tickets
New PL / SQL that has to be implemented that has to support the new on the java side that has to be created
If they have the PL / SQL knowledge they can put them in any front end
Very much a ticket / support focused role
MR SAMS system is Sales and Marketing and mortgage databases they unified these so the split is there still with these databases they married two different databases and meshed them back together
