About the Role
The NPI Program Manager is a critical position within Primus Metals Inc., responsible for ensuring the quality and efficiency of new product introduction. This role involves managing the overall performance of all program-related efforts and providing oversight and support for contracts and work order related functions.
This position requires excellent managerial and organizational skills, as well as superior project management capabilities to champion new product introductions. A solid technical background in a manufacturing environment is essential.
The NPI Program Manager works closely with Sales, Operations, and Engineering at all levels of the organization, necessitating excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Key responsibilities include:
- Primary point of contact with customer program teams, technical offices, procurement, and quality for development projects and growth within the department(s)
- Developing and updating overall program plans on assigned programs
- Managing the overall performance of all program-related efforts
- Providing oversight and support for contracts and work order related functions
Additionally, this role entails 25% travel to meet with customers, attend meetings, and visit production sites.
