Primus Aerospace specializes in high-precision, high-complexity CNC machining and assembly for the Aerospace and Defense industry. Primus Aerospace is currently seeking a Quality Manager with at least 5 years of quality experience managing in a fast-paced contract manufacturing environment. Schedule is Monday - Friday 6am - 3 : 30pm. Requirements Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities : Provide leadership and daily direction to quality inspectors and other personnel. Hire, develop, and evaluate quality department personnel. Assist and training inspectors to utilize proper inspection processes and techniques. Manage Quality Department personnel work schedules and overtime budget. Selection, calibration, and maintenance of measurement equipment including CMMs, gages, and other tools. Develop inspection and in process control plans for parts. Supporting production in part measurement, scrap reduction. Develop quality metrics and drive continuous improvement. Review contracts Lead material review board activities and ensuring all non-compliant material is dispositioned. Perform internal audits according to ensure compliance to quality system. Review inspector metrics and perform inspector evaluations. Manage customer quality escape notifications, DMRs, complaints, RMAs, and corrective & preventive actions. Minimum Qualifications : 5 years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment 5 years of machining experience 3-5 years of leadership, experience managing a team of 5-15 employees Demonstrated experience using GD&T and a full range of measurement techniques Strong analytical skills, including data analysis and visualization Working knowledge of ISO9001 and AS9100 Knowledge of Lean manufacturing Good written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Six Sigma certification preferred. Ability to obtain security clearance.
