Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Heavy Construction Equipment Operator to join our team at Prince Contracting. As a key member of our bridge building crew, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment such as pile drivers to construct and repair bridges.
Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy construction equipment including pile drivers, cranes, and excavators to perform tasks such as drilling, digging, and moving materials
- Inspect structures and materials to ensure quality and safety standards are met
- Maintain equipment and machinery in good working condition, performing routine maintenance and repairs as needed
- Collaborate with other team members to achieve project goals and objectives
- Work safely and follow all relevant regulations and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries
Requirements:
- Must have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience operating heavy construction equipment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a variety of weather conditions
Salary Range:
$65,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience
