Your Role
As a Logistics Assistant, your main focus will be organizing our daily orders, routing, and ensuring orders are prepared for the Warehouse to pick. You'll print out orders, ensure that orders are prepped and grouped together to be picked in the Warehouse, and create spreadsheets to keep staging organized.
Communication is a big part of this job-you'll keep an eye on vehicle inspection reports, flag equipment issues that need attention, and work closely with the Transportation Manager on repairs and regulatory requirements. We're looking for someone who understands or is willing to learn both warehouse operations and transportation logistics.
Attention to detail is a must.
Other Things You Might Help With
Beyond your core responsibilities, you might assist with driver expense reports, coordinate with LTL carriers, order supplies, and help out with other tasks as they come up.

Good phone skills are important since you'll have regular communication with people across the company. Background We're Looking For
Ideally, you have some transportation experience (1-2 years would be great but not required) and are comfortable with computers, especially Excel. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with solid math skills for tracking and calculating shipment details.
Hours
This position will be expected to work Monday - Wednesday 10am to 6pm and Thursday and Friday 9am to 5pm. This position is onsite in Marshfield, WI.
Pay
This position pays $18 to $20 per hour depending on experience
