Prince George's Community Federal Credit Union is seeking an experienced Universal Service Representative to help us deliver our financial products and services to our Membership with exceptional service and attention.
The Universal Service Representative originates and processes consumer loan applications by phone and in person for members. Other activities include but are not limited to: counseling members on various loan products and taking member applications; and the completion of income, employment, assets, down payments, debts, and property value verifications. This position ensures that all applications are complete, including preparation and issuance of required disclosures, etc. The Universal Service Representative has the ability to approve loans within discretionary limits determined by Chief Lending Officer and/or Chief Operations Officer. The Universal Service Representative also performs teller or greeter duties when necessary, conducting deposit and withdrawal transactions, credit and loan payments, and other basic account transactions; providing support to the teller line as needed.
This position requires a complete understanding of all products and services and lending policies and guidelines, as well as specific loan programs, qualifications, insurance, etc., to provide full financial services. This position actively and enthusiastically participates in the cross selling of various credit union products and services.
The Universal Service Representative possesses the ability to interact in a professional, respectful and courteous manner in all situations; and provides exceptional member service, ensures member satisfaction, and is able to coach others around them.
This position could be assigned to either of our branch locations in Bowie, Beltsville or Largo; and location assignments are subject to change at the discretion of management.

Requirements
- Work 20 to 25 hours per week, possible including Saturdays (8:30a - 1:30p)
- Minimum of 3 years member/customer service experience in a financial institution
- Cross-selling experience preferred
- Spanish-speaking preferred
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Must be 18 years old or older
- Valid Driver's License Required
- Background and Credit Check Required
