CNC Machinist – Prince Industries, Inc.

Qualifications:
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately and work within tight tolerances.
- Experience operating Fanuc CNC controls.
- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments, including calipers, micrometers, depth gauges, and dial bore gauges.
- Hands-on experience with manual and CNC machining.
- Familiarity with G-code programming, CNC machine setup, and cutting tool selection.
- Experience working with stainless steels (304, 17-4PH).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
- Experience with Fusion 360 is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Set up and operate CNC mills, CNC lathes, manual mills, and manual lathes as needed.
- Perform daily preventative maintenance checks.
- Verify CNC programs before running the first part.
- Edit G-code programs as needed to optimize production efficiency.
- Monitor tool wear, adjusting feeds and speeds to maximize tool life.
- Use precision measuring tools to ensure parts meet tolerance specifications.
- Adjust tool offsets as needed for accuracy.
- Deburr and handle parts with care to maintain surface finishes.
- Assist with process improvements and 5S initiatives.
