Duties:
- Oversee and manage the housekeeping operations of a hotel or hospitality establishment
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure a clean and sanitary environment
- Train, supervise, and evaluate housekeeping staff to ensure high-quality service delivery
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and place orders as needed
- Inspect rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and adherence to standards
- Respond to guest requests and complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Collaborate with maintenance department to address any repairs or maintenance issues
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in housekeeping management
Requirements:
- Previous experience in housekeeping management or related field, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting
- Strong knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques and procedures
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to effectively manage a team of housekeeping staff
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain high cleanliness standards
- Knowledge of laundering techniques for different fabrics and materials
- Familiarity with custodial procedures for maintaining public areas
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
