Fraud Detections Team Lead

An innovative consumer bank is seeking a Fraud Detections Team Lead to join their growing team in Draper, UT. As a Fraud Detections Team Lead, you’ll be working in a contact center environment and be responsible for educating fraud investigators on identification and prevention of fraudulent activity. Additionally, you’ll be managing the day-to-day activities of your team, providing directions on meeting team goals and providing excellent service to clients.
Fraud Detections Team Lead Responsibilities:
- Define and communicate daily workload priorities for the team.
- Track and analyze team performance using data and metrics
- Lead, mentor, and support team members in their career development.
- Ensure data quality standards are met and provide coaching as needed.
- Identify emerging risks such as identity theft, credential stuffing, fraud rings, and data compromises using fraud tools and data analysis.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) after incidents and work with stakeholders to implement necessary controls.
- Enhance tools and processes to strengthen user-based threat detection and investigations.
Qualifications of a Successful Fraud Detection Team Lead:
- Must have 1-3 years of leadership experience with a proven ability to manage and inspire teams.
- Bachelor’s degree or have equivalent experience in fraud investigation.
- Bring 3-5 years of experience in Fraud Analytics or Investigations space within Financial Services industry.
- Possess strong analytical skills to identify patterns, trends, and key insights from data.
- Confidently research and make informed decisions on complex fraud cases.
- Thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while staying self-motivated and detail-oriented.
