Were looking for a Coax Splicer to join our team and help connect America. You will perform the duties of a Coax Splicer as a part of the construction of telecommunications outside plant to ensure scope of work performed is within standards required by customer

We provide paid training, a company vehicle, full benefits, and tuition assistance.

What youll do

• You will perform tasks associated with the electronic upgrade and splicing of coax.
• You will test, activate, and troubleshoot equipment after installation.
• You will self-supervise all operations to ensure that all splicing operations are completed in accordance with customer and industry specifications.
• You will complete daily production reports, mark-up maps, keep track of work hours, complete "as-built maps" for areas built and track daily production.
• You will reconcile all issued parts and materials on a daily basis to ensure accurate material usage counts.
• You will occasionally work independently.
• Other splicing related duties as assigned.
• Safely use hand tools and other equipment required.
• Setting up a safety perimeter using signage, cones and safety barriers.
• Flagging traffic when required.
• You will maintain bucket trucks and fleet vehicles.
• You will call in job starts for permit requirements
• You will take part in or conduct Safety meetings
