The Prince William Chamber of Commerce is hiring a full-time Director of Communications & Marketing Manager. This position will manage Chamber communications, to include website management, media relations, social media and online strategy, and event marketing.
Responsibilities include website management, podcast production, email marketing, social media sites and campaigns, coordination of printed marketing material, coordination of media relations, and event marketing and promotions. In addition, oversee Marketing coordinator.
Required Skills:
We are looking for a Director of Communications & Marketing to join our team! You will be responsible for overseeing marketing campaigns and programs, as well as identify areas of improvement to increase brand awareness. Other responsibilities will include website management, podcast production, email marketing, social media strategies and campaigns, coordination of printed marketing material, coordination of media relations, and event marketing and promotions. In addition, oversee Marketing coordinator.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate product development and marketing trends
- Determine product demand and customer awareness
- Develop pricing strategies to maximize return on investment
- Coordinate marketing campaigns with sales activities
- Review and optimize marketing budget
- Monitor and report on customer satisfaction
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in marketing or other related fields
- Experience in a managerial role
- Strong project management skills
- Strong leadership qualities
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Team player/Goal Oriented
- Ability to simultaneously execute and complete multiple projects with competing deadlines
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suites and Canva/other design tools
- General Knowledge of database usage; will need to learn and understand the GrowthZone database
