We are seeking qualified applicants to fill a full-time Therapist II (Clinical Services Caseworker) position in the New Horizons School Based/Clinic Based Program located in the Manassas office. This full-time position requires a 4 or 5-day work week that includes Tuesday and Thursday evenings until 8:00 p.m. and a beginning work time of 7:30 a.m. The position provides clinical services in an area public high school and the CS Manassas office conveniently located off I-66.
This position qualifies for a hiring bonus of $5,000. This bonus will be paid in two equal installments as funds permit. The first installment of $2,500 is payable upon the County’s first regular pay date following your position start and the final $2,500 installment will be payable on the pay date following the completion of probation.

Job Responsibilities Include:
- Maintaining a caseload of clients
- Conducting comprehensive assessments to include the ASAM criteria and DLA-20 and formulating diagnoses
- Developing and implementing treatment plans
- Providing prevention, outpatient treatment and case management services to youth and families with mental health, substance use, and co-occurring issues
- Providing prevention and outpatient services in multiple settings to include: local high schools and Community Services office settings
- Maintaining clinical documentation in Electronic Health Record according to agency, Medicaid, MCO and licensure policies and procedures for own caseload of clients
- Provides crisis intervention services for own caseload of clients
- Develops and maintains effective collaborative relationships with other professionals, service providers, and community agencies
Preferences:
- Master’s Degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or related behavioral science field
- Ability to demonstrate licensure eligibility for professional licensure as LCSW or LPC in the Commonwealth of Virginia
- 1-2 years of experience providing services to children, adolescents and families with issues related to mental health, substance use and co-occurring disorders in an outpatient care setting
- Experience providing supervision and direct clinical services to youth and families with complex mental health, substance use and co-occurring disorders,
- Experience providing group and family therapy for youth,
- Experience with Medicaid-funded services for youth,
- Experience collaborating with other service providers
- Bilingual and multilingual candidates encouraged to apply
Special Requirements:
- Must possess a valid driver's license. Must pass DMV record check
- Must pass TB test
- Must pass and maintain first aid and CPR certification

- Child Protective Services Requirements: Effective 1999, mandated by the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services 12VA35-105-400 rules and Regulations for Licensing Providers by the Department of Behavioral Health and Development Services related to Criminal Registry Checks, a search of the registry of founded complaints of child abuse and neglected maintained by the Department of Social Services.

Starting Salary Range: $76,069.50 - $90,372.75
This position qualifies for a hiring bonus of $5,000. This bonus will be paid in two equal installments as funds permit. The first installment of $2500 is payable after (90) days of employment have been completed.
