Prince William County's Community Services is seeking energetic, self-motivated, high-achieving applicants for our Early Intervention Supervisor position in the Infant Information Center (IIC) Program staffed by Part C certified Service Coordinators. The IIC works alongside the Parent Infant Education Program (PIE) to form our local “Early Intervention” program also known as the Infant and Toddler Connection of Greater Prince William. About This Role:
The Early Intervention Supervisor for the IIC provides clinical and administrative supervision of the Service Coordination staff. This includes all activities listed below under “essential functions” and other activities as necessary to include: overseeing staff training and professional development, helping build community partners, coordinating as needed with reimbursement staff to ensure maximum reimbursement for billable Service Coordination, collecting and analyzing data on staff execution of duties/growth and trends of IIC program, etc., assisting IIC Program Manager with annual record reviews and any audits as required throughout the year, and other tasks as necessary to successfully supervise the IIC staff in the Early Intervention program.
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Supervise current and new Service Coordinators.
- Participates as Service Coordinator on Assessment team/Individual Family Service Plan team
- Provide continued Service Coordination as needed per program demands
- Completing monthly Medicaid Approvals
- Monitoring and ensuring staff and program compliance with Part C, DMAS and Community Support & PWC requirements
- Takes lead on hiring new staff; participates as needed on any Early Intervention interview panel
- Coordinates with Transition Specialist from local school divisions weekly
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree with equivalent experience in Human Services, Social Services, Social Work, or a related field
- 3 years of related experience providing early interventionservice coordination/case management or service provision to 0-3 year old age population
Preferences:
- Master’s degree in Human Services, Social Services, Social Work, or a related field
- 2 years of related supervisory experience
- Currently possess or able to obtain Part C certification as a Service Coordinator within two weeks from hire, as required by the Virginia Early Intervention System
- 4-5 years of related experience providing service coordination/case management or service provision to 0-3 year old age population
- Experience working in the Virginia Early Intervention program.
- Licensed ECSE, LCSW, LPC or Licensed PT, OT or SLP with supervision and service coordination experience.
Special Requirements:
- Must possess a valid driver's license and pass DMV record check
- Must pass TB test
- Must pass and maintain first aid and CPR certification
- Offer of employment is contingent upon the candidate passing a fingerprint based National Criminal History Record Check
- Child Protective Services Requirements: Effective 1999, mandated by the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services 12VA35-105-400 rules and Regulations for Licensing Providers by the Department of Behavioral Health and Development Services related to Criminal Registry Checks, a search of the registry of founded complaints of child abuse and neglected maintained by the Department of Social Services.

Work Schedule:
This position is typically Monday – Friday, 8 hours/day with the possibility of supervisory duties extending beyond this on occasion.
Starting Salary Range: $91,162.50-$121,836.00
