Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and assist them with the check-in process.
- Manage front desk operations, including answering phones, scheduling appointments, and handling patient inquiries.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all information is up to date in the system.
- Process insurance verifications and assist with medical billing tasks as necessary.
- Assist in filing and organizing patient documents efficiently.
- Use of medical software for managing patient information and appointments.
- Communicate effectively with both English-speaking and Spanish-speaking patients to enhance their experience.
Requirements
- Proficiency in medical terminology is essential; knowledge of medical coding is a plus.
- Experience working at a front desk in a healthcare setting is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with office procedures and medical billing practices
- Experience with medical software
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to maintain accurate records.
