Minimum Requirements
High school diploma or G.E.D. and 5 years of related zoning experience.
Preferences
This position works a standard Monday-Friday schedule, working 37.5 hours per week.
This position has the ability to telework 1-2 days per week after an initial probationary period.

About This Role
Our Primary responsibilities are:
- Issuing zoning approvals upon receipt of zoning applications by researching the underlying zoning district and uses and interpreting the zoning ordinance, proffers, and special use permits.
- Assisting the public by answering zoning questions and providing guidance about processes and procedures.
Minimum Requirements
High school diploma or G.E.D. and 5 years of related zoning experience.
Preferences
- At least two years of experience working in zoning, planning or a related field.
- Knowledge of the principals and concepts of planning and zoning and familiarity with terminology.
- Experience working with customers and providing customer service.
- Cash handling experience is a plus.
- Background working with the public in a local government setting.
This position works a standard Monday-Friday schedule, working 37.5 hours per week.
This position has the ability to telework 1-2 days per week after an initial probationary period.
- This is a telework eligible position that may revert to in-office scheduling if business needs change.
