Bilingual Scheduling Coordinator
South Jordan
HOURS : 8am – 5pm
18.00 / hr.
The primary responsibility of the Scheduling Coordinator is to provide the patient a focused, efficient, and professional patient registration process. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and customer service skills and can thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
Responsibilities :
Ensure registration forms are completed accurately, consent forms are signed, and patients are checked in
Answer multi-line telephone system, take accurate messages, and transfer telephone calls to the appropriate person in an efficient manner
Coordinate with e-Assist verification of benefits before initial appointment
Coordinate patient treatment appointments
Oversee the faculty, staff, and student schedules to achieve utilization goals through efficient use of appointment time and chair availability
Manage any patient insurance pre-authorization that is required prior to treatment
Receive and respond to incoming communications from patients and outside entities via phone, text, email, and mail
Requirements :
Bilingual – Spanish is required
1-3 years of experience with scheduling in a medical or dental office
Great verbal and oral communication skills
Excellent attention to detail
High school Diploma or GED required; some College preferred
Proficient in basic computer applications including Microsoft Office
