Key Responsibilities
- Scheduling & Operations:
- Schedule EP cases efficiently and accurately
- Coordinate daily huddles and manage staff schedules
- Liaise with anesthesia and CVA office for seamless procedure planning
- Clinical Support & Patient Care:
- Perform daily charge duties
- Call patients before and after procedures to ensure readiness and follow-up
- Serve as the point of contact for patient and family inquiries
- Enter supply charges and CPT codes with accuracy
- Charge procedures promptly to improve revenue cycle performance
- Timekeeping and payroll support for the EP team
- Lead monthly EP meetings
- Coordinate education and clinical review activities
- Serve as a resource for new staff orientation and ongoing training
- Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM
- Occasional extended hours and coverage as needed
Education/Training
- Effective July 1, 2024: New Hires and team members moved into this job and/ or transferring departments must have obtained a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.
- Maintains current license as an RN in the State of Alabama.
- Maintains current BLS/ healthcare provider.

- Takes the lead in ensuring the continuity and consistency of care across the continuum (inpatient, emergency and ambulatory care/
