Job Overview
We are seeking passtionate professionals to join our team here at Princeton Children's Center. We are under new management and are excited about the opportunities available as we build this high quality program here in Lawrence. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. As a Preschool Teacher, you will play a crucial role in the development of children's social, emotional, and cognitive skills through engaging lesson plans and activities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote literacy, math, and overall childhood development.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
• Conduct assessments to monitor student progress and adapt curriculum as necessary.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively to ensure a safe and respectful learning atmosphere.
• Collaborate with parents and guardians to support children's development at home.
• Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.

Experience

• High School Diploma with at least 6 months experience is required.
• An Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred or a Child Development Associate Certificate (CDA)
• Experience with early intervention strategies and behavior management techniques is highly desirable.
• Strong skills in curriculum development and lesson planning are essential.
• Knowledge of literacy education and math concepts for preschool-aged children is required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• No nights
• No weekends
