Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Gymnastics Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in gymnastics and experience working with children and students in a supportive and encouraging environment. As a Gymnastics Coach, you will be responsible for teaching gymnastics skills, promoting physical fitness, and fostering a love for the sport among young athletes. **While a background in gymnastics is highly preferred, we are willing to train the right candidate.
Duties
- Develop and implement engaging gymnastics lesson plans tailored to various skill levels.
- Instruct students in proper techniques for gymnastics skills, including tumbling, balance beam, and vaulting.
- Create a safe and positive learning environment while ensuring the well-being of all participants.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve their skills.
- Organize and lead warm-up exercises, drills, and conditioning activities.
- Foster teamwork and sportsmanship among students during practices and competitions.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a gymnastics coach or instructor is preferred.
- Experience working with children in settings such as childcare or health clubs is highly desirable.
- Certification in CPR/First Aid or willingness to obtain certification upon hire.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate young athletes.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 3 – 25 per week
