We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our dietary team and providing excellent service to our residents.
Responsibilities
- Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and kitchen floors by sweeping and mopping as needed.
- Assist with food and drink preparation tasks as directed by kitchen staff.
- Ensure that all kitchen equipment is cleaned and maintained according to health and safety regulations.
- Remove trash and recycling from the kitchen area regularly to maintain a clean workspace.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow during busy service periods.
- Buussing resident dining area.
Skills
- Previous experience in a food service environment is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food handling safety practices is essential.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
