Job Summary

We. Are seeking an experienced **Mainframe ADABAS & Natural Developer** to join our team in Jersey City, NJ. The ideal candidate will have over a decade of hands-on experience working with ADABAS and Natural on mainframe platforms. This role demands in-depth knowledge and expertise in these technologies to support and enhance our mainframe systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using ADABAS and Natural in a mainframe environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
• Optimize* and tune existing ADABAS databases to improve performance and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ADABAS and Natural applications, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior developers on the team.
• prepare and maintain technical documentation for all developed applications.
• Support migration efforts, where applicable, and ensure smooth transitions of data and applications.
  
  

Required Skills

• 10 years of experience working with ADABAS and Natural on mainframe platforms.
• Proficiency in ADABAS (Mandatory).
• Strong knowledge of Natural programming language.
• Experience with JCL, TSO/ISPF, and other mainframe tools.
• Experience in the transportation or transit industry is a plus.
• Familiarity with NJ Transit systems and processes.
• Experience in migrating or upgrading mainframe systems.
