About the Role
As a Treatment Nurse at Princeton Medical Lodge, you will play a vital role in our residents' recovery and well-being. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive and compassionate care, ensuring the highest quality of life for those entrusted to our care.
Responsibilities:
- Assess residents' health status, including monitoring vital signs, wounds, and overall condition.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, following established protocols and safety guidelines.
- Provide wound care, including dressing changes, monitoring, and documentation.
- Educate residents and their families on treatment plans, medications, and self-care techniques.
- Document resident care accurately and thoroughly in electronic medical records.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to infection control protocols.
- Participate in care plan meetings and contribute to the development of resident care strategies.
Qualifications:
- Current RN or LVN license in the state of Texas.
- Experience in long-term care or post-acute care is highly preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Compassionate and dedicated to providing resident-centered care.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
