Nurse Practitioner- Med Spa

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our dynamic team at Genesis MedSpa in Colorado Springs. As an NP, you will provide medical care in aesthetic procedures, including injectables, skin care treatments, and other non-surgical treatments. The ideal candidate is passionate about aesthetics, patient care, and helping clients achieve their beauty goals while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism. Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Consultations: Conduct comprehensive patient consultations to assess their aesthetic needs, explain available treatments, and develop customized treatment plans
• Aesthetic Procedures: Administer a variety of medical aesthetics services, including Neurotoxins, dermal fillers, PRP, and other non-invasive cosmetic procedures in line with current industry standards
• Medical Oversight: Provide clinical expertise and medical oversight in aesthetic treatments, ensuring all procedures are performed safely and effectively
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all treatments and practices are compliant with Colorado’s Nurse Practitioner laws, state regulations, and Med Spa policies. Maintain accurate and complete patient records in compliance with regulatory standards
• Patient Safety & Education: Educate patients about post-treatment care, realistic outcomes, and potential risks or side effects. Address any concerns and provide follow-up care as needed to ensure optimal results and patient satisfaction
• Collaborate with Team: Work closely with a team of aestheticians, nurses, and other medical professionals to provide seamless and exceptional service. Offer guidance and mentorship to non-licensed staff
• Collaborate with the management team to develop strategic goals for MedSpa.
• Client Satisfaction: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by providing personalized, high-quality care and ensuring a positive experience at every stage of their treatment
• Stay Current with Trends: Keep up-to-date with the latest trends, techniques, and technologies in medical aesthetics to offer the best possible services to patients
• Marketing & Promotion: Assist with client education efforts and promotional activities to increase awareness of our services and improve patient retention
• Training: Participate in training and ongoing education for all clinical staff.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Education & Licensure:
• Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN)
• Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) licensure in Colorado
• Aesthetic certification (or the ability to obtain certification in injectables and other relevant aesthetics procedures)
• CPR/BLS certification
• Knowledge of Colorado state laws regarding Nurse Practitioners’ scope of practice, including the ability to delegate certain tasks as per regulations
• Experience:
• Minimum of 1-3 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner, ideally in a Med Spa or aesthetic setting
• Experience performing injectable treatments (e.g., neurotoxins, dermal fillers), laser therapies, and other aesthetic procedures preferred
• Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment
• Experience in patient consultations and developing customized treatment plans
• Familiarity with medical spa operations, patient safety protocols, and regulatory compliance
• Skills & Competencies:
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients and the team
• Compassionate, patient-centric approach with a focus on delivering results and building relationships
• Ability to handle sensitive patient concerns and provide the highest level of care
• Knowledge of industry best practices, techniques, and current trends in the aesthetic field
• Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems and other clinical software
• Knowledge of the current regulations governing aesthetic treatments and medical practices in Colorado

Compensation:

• Salary range for this position is $30.00 per hour bonus potential based on performance and patient satisfaction
