Responsibilities
- Provide front-line IT support to in-house staff in a collegial and professional manner.
- Monitor and respond quickly and effectively to IT requests via in-person, email, ticketing system, and phone calls, ensuring resolution.
- Assist in onboarding new employees by setting up their IT tools and providing guidance on systems and processes.
- Collaborate with IT leadership and other departments to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Create and maintain technical documentation as required.
- Ensure IT systems remain secure against cybersecurity threats.
- Track and research best practices to recommend and implement improvements in IT operations.
Qualifications
- 5 years of relevant IT support experience with a continuous learning mindset.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for both in-person and remote support.
- Ability to quickly adapt to changing work situations, processes, and procedures.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving technical issues efficiently.
- Solid knowledge of firewalls, switches, Windows servers, web servers, and Active Directory.
- Familiarity with VoIP phone systems, computer hardware, software deployment, and other tech tools.
- Expertise in Windows Operating Systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Understanding of essential cybersecurity principles and best practices.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and results-oriented.
- A positive, team-player attitude with a problem-solving approach.
