What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cleaner position at Princeton Properties Management, Inc.?
BUILDING CLEANING & MAINTENANCE – AS ASSIGNED
- Police grounds, picking up all trash around buildings. Inform the Property Manager if any obvious repairs or issues are noticed. Report on accumulated items stored in carports.
- Clean outside entrance to building to including sidewalk, steps, railings, intercom and doors.
- Wipe down interior doors and mailboxes, report name tag changes on mailboxes, vacuum all carpets and stairs throughout, clean carpet spots, if possible, clean windows and sills as needed, high/low dust throughout, spot check walls and apartment doors and clean unsightly areas as necessary, clean elevators where applicable to include vacuuming, polishing doors inside and out and cleaning elevator threshold, report bugs in light fixtures, report mats and door hangings, report any deficiencies noted throughout building that need attention.
- Clean laundry rooms to include vacuuming stairs where applicable, emptying trash, wiping down all machines, vacuuming and washing floors, wiping down shelves. Report any deficiencies noted.
VACANT UNIT CLEANING – AS ASSIGNED
- Kitchen - Clean all appliances to include refrigerator, oven, microwave and dishwasher. Wipe down outside and inside of cabinets, clean counters, report any deficiencies noted.
- Bathroom - Clean bathrooms to include bathtub, showers, sinks, toilets, vanities, mirrors, fixtures, cove base and floors. Shine chrome fixtures and report any rusting fixtures noted, visually inspect bathroom fans, report any deficiencies noted.
- General – Wipe down all doorknobs throughout, wash windows inside/out, wipe down closet shelving, wipe down thermostats. Report any deficiencies noted.
- Inform supervisor upon completion of the vacant unit cleaning.

Keep Property Manager, Maintenance Supervisor and office informed of any events and problems that may be observed
