24-25 ELL Summer Math at PMS

MLL Summer Math at PMS : Monday - Thursday evenings (4:00 - 6:30) August 4 - August 21, 2025

Qualifications: Appropriate NJ Teaching Certificate required for teaching position; bilingual preferred; experience with working with multilingual learners preferred

Essential Functions: Teachers and Staff will provide instruction for rising 7th and 8th grade students who are either new to the U.S. schools in the last three years or are eligible for ESL and/or Title 1 Services. Students will continue their work on improving speaking, listening and math skills

Positions:
1 Preprogram Coordinator needed at $56.44/hr for up to 10 hours to recruit, schedule students and communicate with parents. Coordinator will also work with teachers, administration to plan for materials and food throughout the program.
1 instructional assistant at $850 program stipend
1 Family Liaison at $1693 program stipend
1 Counselor at $2709 program stipend
2 teachers at $2709 program stipend each

Teacher/Counselor Stipend includes 30 hours of instructional time, 6 planning hours and 2 hours of preprogram meeting time.
Assistant and Family Liaison stipend includes 30 hours of instructional time and 2 hours of preprogram meeting time
