The MS Science Exploratory Program (SEP) Teacher position is a middle school science teaching position appropriate for a teacher who is adept at interdisciplinary instruction where science and engineering practices form the core of instruction. Projects that focus on sustainable practices that reduce negative environmental impacts, advance innovative and critical thinking, inspire creativity and collaborative communication with students and promote health and wellness advocacy are part of our commitment to cultivate genius and build informed and involved global citizens. The certificated staff/faculty member will use a range of instructional techniques that help meet standards for climate education, information and cultural literacy while centering learning around projects and experimentation.
CERTIFICATION: New Jersey Teacher Certification(s) in one of the recommended subject areas: Agriculture, Biological Science (Add On), Chemistry (Add On), Earth Science (Add On), Family and Consumer Science, Middle School Science.
