We are a high-end landscape company based in central Massachusetts. We offer clients the design, installation, and maintenance of fine gardens, as well as eye-catching seasonal pots and planters.
The ideal applicant would love people, as well as plants, and enjoy working outside every day to help us make our clients' properties beautiful.
Key Responsibilities
- Garden installations including trees, shrubs, and perennials
- Install seasonal plants and decor
- Weed, and dead-head annuals and perennials
- Prune and trim trees and shrubs
- Monitor and maintain plant health
- Control pest problems that could damage plants
- Maintain gardens and green spaces neat and clear of debris
Required Skills
- Knowledge of annual, perennial, shrub, and tree ID and care
- Motivation to learn and grow with our company
- Familiarity with landscape design
- Ability to engage with customers
- Detail-oriented
- Ability to lift heavy objects and remain on your feet for long periods of time
- Able to work outside in various weather conditions
- Ability to meet project deadlines
- Horticultural certifications/licenses a plus
Job Details
- Job Type: Full-time with overtime opportunities
- Benefits: 401(k), health insurance, paid time off, reimbursement for horticultural certifications/licenses
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Experience: 2 years in horticulture or gardening; MCH certification and Pesticide Core license a plus
- License/Certification: Driver's license with good driving record required; valid DOT License or eligibility
