Family Nurse Practitioner Opportunity
Princeton Sports and Family Medicine P.C., a thriving independent Sports Medicine/Family Practice and Physical Therapy Practice in Lawrenceville, N.J. is seeking a qualified medical professional to join our patient-centered team of 10 physicians.
This position focuses on diagnosing and treating patients in a kind, compassionate, outpatient environment in a private practice setting. Working both independently and collaboratively with other healthcare providers, the Family Nurse Practitioner will:
• Conduct physical assessments
• Perform and interpret diagnostic tests
• Diagnose and treat common conditions
• Provide screening, interventions, and counseling
• Prescribe medications as needed
• Be actively involved in patient follow-up encounters
The Family Nurse Practitioner will see up to 20 patients per day and work approximately 5 days/week (40 hours), which may include working one evening per week and one Saturday morning per month. Our office support team consists of experienced nursing staff and medical assistants/medical scribes.

Qualifications and Requirements:
- Education: Graduate of an accredited nurse practitioner program required
- Experience: One year of experience working in a physician practice or urgent care setting preferred. Practical experience is a plus.
- Must be able to work cooperatively and collegially within a diverse environment and adhere to policies and procedures
- Experienced and competent in managing the physical and mental health issues of young adults to elderly patients (no pediatrics)
- Should have excellent written and oral communication skills
- Familiarity using EMR systems (use of eClinicalWorks is a plus)
- Should be motivated to build a practice as part of the fast-growing medical group
- Unrestricted New Jersey State APN license (or eligible)
- Advanced Practice Nurse Certification required
- Must be board certified in Family Medicine
- DEA, CDS registration eligible
- BLS required, ACLS preferred
