Job Title : Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLP-A)

Location : Hermiston, Oregon

Job Type : Full-Time, Contract (W2)

Job Summary : We are partnering with a School District near Hermiston, OR seeking multiple school experienced Speech-Language Pathologist Assistants for the 2025-2026 school year starting Mid-August. The role is 40 hours per week providing Speech and Language services to school aged students ranging from K-12th Grade.

As a part of a team of extraordinary educators, you will have the chance to see the development of a student’s ability to connect with their world. Working closely with a team of evaluators you will learn from each other and strengthen your skills.

Responsibilities :

Preparing materials for screening, assessment, and treatment services

Implementing speech and language programs or activities as planned and directed by speech-language pathologists

Monitoring the use of alternative communication devices and systems

Selecting or preparing speech-language instructional materials

Deliver services based on the caseload need, as determined by the supervising SLP

License and Education Requirements :

Associates or Bachelor’s degree in communication sciences and disorders or equivalent from an accredited institution

Clinical Field Work Hour Requirements completed

Active SLPA License Issued by Oregon Board of Examiners prior to start of school year
