Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.

- Monitor and support the individual needs of each child, including those with special needs or disabilities.
- Foster positive relationships with children, providing guidance in behavior management and conflict resolution.
- Engage children in educational activities that promote language development, motor skills, and social interaction.
- Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom space, ensuring all materials are safe and accessible.
- Collaborate with other educators to create a cohesive learning experience for all students.
Qualifications
- DCFS qualifications including CDA/Associates Degree, Bachelor's Degree or 18 hours in early childhood education.
- Experience working with children in a daycare or educational setting is essential.
- Strong behavior management skills to effectively guide children's interactions and emotional responses.
- Experience in infant care is highly desirable, along with familiarity with preschool curriculum development.
- Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
- A genuine passion for educating young children and supporting their developmental needs.
