What You'll Do

We’re looking for a Data Analyst III to join our Large Market Education Strategy team within Workplace Savings and Retirement Solutions (WSRS) . In this role, you’ll use your analytical skills to develop insights and actions to support educational outreach efforts for retirement plan participants.

  • Collaborate with Education Strategists to develop a deep understanding of large market education strategy efforts and supporting data to drive client specific results
  • Collect and analyze data from various sources to support large market exclusive campaign efforts
  • Build and support leader dashboards extracting insights for decision-making
  • Prepare and provide quarterly reporting and analysis to enable consultative conversations with large market clients
  • Develop efficiencies and improvements for existing analytic processes

Who You Are

  • Bachelor's degree in a Business or Technical field plus 3-5 years of related analytics, consulting, project management, or equivalent experience preferred
  • Business Intelligence applications and/or cloud services (e.g. PowerBI and Tableau).
  • No/Low code ETL and Orchestration platforms such as AWS Glue or SAS.
  • Data querying, transformation, and processing languages such as SQL, Python, Power BI DAX/M Query, or SAS.
  • Operational, enterprise, and analytical relational/non-relational data stores such as PaaS cloud technologies, SQL Server, Oracle, and DB2.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms and surrounding ecosystems (AWS, Azure).

Skills That Will Help You Stand Out

  • Experience in the retirement plan industry and knowledge of key retirement plan concepts
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate complex data topics in business friendly terms
  • Data analysis and exploration skills – ability to identify trends and patterns within datasets to arrive at business insights
  • Ability to access and manage data using SQL
  • Analytics tooling experience with PowerBI, SAS, and/or Python
  • Data cleansing – ability to retrieve data from different sources and prepare it for analysis
  • Math skills – understanding of math needed to process and interpret numerical data for analysis

Salary Range Information

Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
Salary Range (Non-Exempt expressed as hourly; Exempt expressed as yearly)

$77350 - $147600 / year
Time Off Program

Flexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees and provides the opportunity to take time away from the office with pay for vacation, personal or short-term illness. Employees don’t accrue a bank of time off under FTO and there is no set number of days provided.

Work Environments

This role offers in-office, hybrid (blending at least three office days in a typical workweek), and remote work arrangements (only if residing more than 30 miles from Des Moines, IA, or Charlotte, NC). You’ll work with your leader to figure out which option may align best based on several factors.
